Rose maintains Indonesian Masters lead

Justin Rose held on to a two-shot lead following the second day at the Indonesian Masters as play was impacted by adverse weather.

The players enjoyed almost perfect conditions on day one as Olympic gold medalist Rose hit 10 birdies to claim the lead but the second day was impacted by storms.

Rose was four under for his second round, putting him on -14 overall, with two holes remaining when play was suspended due to fading light.

The Englishman is one of 36 players who will return to complete their opening 36 holes when play resumes on Saturday.

Thailand’s Kirdaech Aphibarnrat is second on 12-under after a -8 second round, with South Korean Giwhan Kim and Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent a further stroke off the pace in a share of third.
