Alex Noren won the British Masters by two shots to land a third European Tour title of the campaign.

Noren was the overnight leader heading into the final day after opening rounds of 67, 65 and 65.

The Swede held his nerve on Sunday to card a 69 to finish on 18 under par, two shots ahead of nearest challenger Bernd Wiesberger of Austria.

Englishman Lee Westwood finished in third place on -15, ahead of compatriots Richard Bland and Tommy Fleetwood who finished in a five-way tie for fourth on -13.

Noren led throughout but did drop into a share of the lead when Wiesberger holed his 12-foot birdie putt at the 15th to join him on 16 under, but he immediately regained the lead with a birdie of his own at the 15th to get back to -17.

The 34-year-old finished his round with another birdie to claim his third European Tour title of the season and the seventh of his career.
